TAI CHI FOR HEALTH
For centuries the Chinese have been using tai chi to help them to live longer, happier, healthier & better lives. More recently Western medical scientists are finding empirical evidence indicating that tai chi can benefit individuals in alleviating symptoms of rheumatic disorders, osteoarthritis and other musculo-skeletal disorders often bringing positive developments in well-being and an enhanced facility to find greater satisfaction in life
INTERESTED IN TAI CHI FOR HEALTH?
In partnership with LUPUS UK - Cambridgeshire Group and Addebrookes Hospital we are preparing low-cost and accessible tai chi for health classes in Cambridge especially promoting well-being and relaxation. This class will open to all with an interest in tai chi for health.
Tai Chi is particularly recommended by Rheumatologists as both a form of gentle exercise and as a relaxation technique.
We need to gather interest to make the classes viable. We will also need to establish what days/times would suit the majority (knowing we sadly won't be able to meet everyone's needs but we will try our best!)
Sessions would be for one hour in Cambridge with a smalll charge of £5 per person to cover costs.
If you are interested, or know someone who might be, either let us know or email mail@cambridgeshirelupus.org.uk or see www.taichilab-cambridge.co.uk/tai-chi-for-health
